Plymouth represented at Dutch Design Week

March 3, 2013

3D Design, part of the School of Architecture, Design and Environment attended Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven to showcase a collection of work, inspired by up-cycling.

This visit is the result of a groundbreaking joint venture that has evolved following a recent successful visit to China where ten UK universities came together to work with colleagues from six universities in China.
PLLANT is a collaborative design group involving young designers from Plymouth University, Lincoln, Loughborough and Nottingham Trent University in the UK. The group concentrates on the Upcycling of Waste Material to create a range of innovative and enhanced outcomes. The project is supported by Co-oproduct, and will showcase it's work internationally at major design festivals and events throughout the coming months.
